At the close of this year, I'd like to take a moment and mourn those we've lost in 2008.
Especially 24.
He represented the best in all of us; he had, as the Mighty Monarch said, "that rare blend of expendable and invulnerable."
Until the last episode of this season. His death even made me not care that Brock left the Venture Family un-bodyguarded at the end.
I'll miss the Ray Romano-esque monotone, the wry commentary on 21's antics, the stubborn refusal to admit that, yes, Smurfette probably is an insect since she's a female servicing a large number of males (or else she'd be in estrus 24/7).
Anyway, lads, a moment of silence: To 24!
